AVLC arrested five suspects, recover car, motorcycles

Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) of Sindh police on Monday claimed to have arrested five accused and recovered one Toyota Corolla and three stolen motorcycles from their possession.

 

According to AVLC SSP Arif Aslam Rao, a AVLC Gadap team conducted a raid and arrested three accused  Raja Saleem Yusuf, his son Hamza Saleem and their accomplice Shakir.

 

The SSP said that the accused rented a car, made a duplicate key and returned the car to the owner, and later stole it easily. He further said that other detained accused of the motorcycle thieves had been identified as Ghulam Ali and Nasir.

 

Motorcycle thieves were involved in numerous crimes, said Aslam said. Car number AZG-387-Toyota Corolla recovered from the accused was stolen from the limits of Baloch Colony police station, he said.

 

The motorcycle number KIF-7425 Superstar 70 recovered from the accused was stolen from Sachal police station. The case number is 603/2021, SSP AVLC said. Other accomplices of the accused are being searched by conducting raids, he concluded.
