Augustine returns home after US visit


Punjab Minister for Human Rights & Minorities Affairs (HR&MA) Ijaz Alam Augustine returned home on Monday after a successful tour of the USA.
According to details, Ijaz Alam August spent 20 days in the USA, where he attended Human Rights Forum, 2019 along with Ex-President of USA Jimmy Carter.
The UN Forum was the world’s largest annual gathering on business and human rights with more than 2,000 participants. He also visited the Catholic University of America and attended community meetings with Pakistani diaspora, interacted with catholic organizations, held meetings with civil society organizations at the United States Institute of Peace. Provincial Minister also met with the regional director for Asia programs Manpreet Singh Anand.—INP
