Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan ex-Premier of AJK and Supreme Head of Muslim Conference has appealed to the Secretary General of UN to intervene immediately to save lives of five Hurriyet leaders imprisoned by Indian government illegally for past several years. “Now reports appear that Indian govt has planned to finish lives of at least five Hurriyet leaders in the darkness of dungeons.
It is most shocking treatment India is giving to the Kashmiri leaders who demand implementation of UN-approved right to self-determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir; BJP is a sectarian poisonous snake biting every religious and social minority across India as daily reports with videos appear in the media. For sheer savagery India must be ousted from the UN membership fold as least punishment to such anti-humanists cabal”, Sardar Attique urged the UN boss via a media statement he issued here on Wednesday.
In his statement are listed the names of life-threatened long imprisoned Kashmiri leaders – Mohammad Yaseen Malik, Shabir Ahmed Shah, Asiya Andrabi, Mussarrat Alam Bhat, Naeem Ahmed Khan and several others whom Indian govt is intent upon ‘finishing’ in the darkness of dungeons they are in.
Sardar Attique urged government of Pakistan to urgently take up this highly imperiled human lives situation to the UN Security Council besides sensitizing all global human rights watchers and protectors. “India wants to kill the strong Kashmiri voices of right to self-determination”, he cautioned. Mr. Yaseen Malik has already shown his no trust in the Indian judiciary sensing the diabolic move behind the curtains, he added.
