Two police cops of Elite force were injured when their vahical came under attack at Kiri Khazai area in the limits of Mulazai police station, police said Saturday.
According to police sources, a police mobile of Mulazai police station was on routine patrol in the night between Friday and Saturday when some proclaimed offenders ambushed it with fire near Kiri Khazai area.
Resultantly two police constables of Elite Force identified as Muhammad Younis and Muhammad Ishfaq sustained bullet injuries. Police retaliated fire which forced the criminals to flee from the scene.
The injured cops were rushed to DHQ Hospital Tank for treatment where doctors declared both of them as stable. Soon after the attach, a huge contingent of police reached the attack spot and cordoned off the entire area.
