Atif Sheikh hails Ikhtiar Baig’s win

President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Atif Ikram Sheikh, extended warm congratulations to Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig on securing victory in the national assembly seat of NA – 241, expressing confidence in his leadership to champion the interests of the business, industry, and trade community.

Highlighting Dr. Baig’s distinguished background as a former Senior Vice President of FPCCI and his notable governance experience, including serving as Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Textiles, Atif Ikram Sheikh emphasized his belief in Dr. Baig’s ability to advocate for conducive business and economic policies at the National Assembly of Pakistan.

Atif Ikram Sheikh underscored Dr. Baig’s extensive contributions to various spheres including social, philanthropic, economic, and political domains over several decades, further endorsing his suitability for the role. Furthermore, Atif Ikram Sheikh proposed leveraging Dr. Baig’s expertise and networks in export markets and diplomatic circles, citing his appointment as Honorary Consul General of Yemen in Pakistan and his recognition with prestigious civil awards such as Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan.
