Awami Tehreek (AT) activists, led by President Lal Jarwar, organized a rally to protest against the occupation of Sindh’s lands and resources, rising inflation, issues with the census, imperialistic tendencies, and increasing kidnappings in the region.
During the rally, prominent AT activists such as Noor Mohammad Katiyar, Qadir Ranto, Mitha Khan Lashari, Abdul RazzaqChandio, Dr. MarouKhushik, and others voiced their concerns. They strongly condemned the acting government’s actions, stating that it lacks the legal authority to sell cultural or historical sites, including mines, in Sindh. The government’s primary responsibility should be to conduct fair and transparent elections as per the constitution. The leaders emphasized the importance of preserving Sindh’s cultural heritage, including sites like Karoonjhar.
