Aslam visits Pakistan Pavilion at Dubai Expo, chairs meeting


Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal visited the Pakistan Pavilion at Dubai Expo, reviewed the ongoing activities and presided over a meeting there.

During the meeting, the provincial minister was informed that so far 25 memoranda of understanding (MoU) have been signed with international investment companies at Dubai Expo.

Talking on the occasion, Mian Aslam Iqbal said that the agreements reached with international investors would be implemented and sub-committees would be formed for the implementation of the agreements. He said that the Punjab government would continue to participate in such international events.

He said that hard work should be continued to make Dubai Expo fruitful. While appreciating the art of artisans of Punjab Small Industries Corporation, the provincial minister said that our artisans are the glory and identity of Pakistan.

Our handicrafts are being appreciated all over the world, he said adding Punjab Small Industries Corporation has taken excellent steps to promote the art of artisans. Mian Aslam Iqbal distributed certificates of appreciation among the artisans.

Additional Secretary Commerce Kanwer Ijaz Khaliq Razaqi, CEO Punjab Board of Investment and Trade, Director Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Rizwan Tariq and Director Punjab Small Industries Corporation Creative and Culture Yawar Mehdi attended the meeting.
