Asif directs to close all tourist destinations from May 8 to 16

Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab for Tourism, Asif Mehmood directed to close all tourist destinations for general public from May 08 to 16, 2021.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that as per decision made by NCOC, Punjab Tourism Department has decided to implement the directions in letter and spirit.

Asif Mehmood said, “Warning signs should be displayed at all tourist spots to intimate visitors.” He appealed the public to avoid visiting tourist points, as well as heritage sites.

“Tourism Department shall fulfill its responsibilities to stop the spread of fatal Covid19”, pledged the Adviser.

Asif Mehmood said that police and district administrations of concerned districts have also been taken into loop “To make restrictions implemented”.
