The rally of film and TV artistes in capital city Quetta on Wednesday was extraordinary. The major reason of this rally was to create awareness among the public against the awful impact of plastic bags. Apart from this, they urged the residents of Quetta to plant as many trees as possible because the plantation is the only source to get rid of the threatening woe of climate change, heavy flood, Oxygen scarcity in the air, dry climate and many others.
I appreciate the massive performance of the artistes by highlighting such a burning issue and making the people deeply aware about it. The authorities and artistes of the remaining cities should also conduct such informative campaigns in order to create a waste-free environment in the country.
