Art contest spotlights women’s contribution

The Directorate of Electronic Media and Production (DEMP), in collaboration with the Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum Management Board (QMMB), organized an Inter-School Art Competition at the Quaid’s Mausoleum in Karachi. The competition saw the participation of 140 students from schools across Karachi. Nargis Rehman, President of the All-Pakistan Women’s Foundation for Peace, lauded the progress made by women but stressed the need for further empowerment. She encouraged the students, praising their creative talents and thanking their parents and teachers for nurturing their skills.

Addressing the audience, Erum Tanveer, Karachi’s Director General Public Relations (DGPR), praised the youth’s role in shaping Pakistan’s future and instilled hope in their potential. The event concluded with cash prizes for winners, accolades for participants, and mementos for distinguished guests, marking a celebration of women’s contribution to society.
