The Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) organized the National Siraat Conference with religious fervor, here on Wednesday.
PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman was the chief guest whereas guest speakers were Religious Scholar Dr. Zaheer Abbas Qadri, Former Dean Shariah Faculty Islamic International University and Prof. Dr. Haris Baig Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad.
PMAS-AAUR Registrar Mr. Aqeel Sultan, Conference Coordinator Dr. Ghulam Hussain Baber, heads of different institutions, faculty, administrative officers and a large number of students were also present at the occasion.
Appreciating the speakers, students and organizers Vice Chancellor Dr. Qmar-uz-Zaman said that describing Seerah is not enough, we must act on it and stressed the need to conduct research and studies on different aspects of Prophet Muhammad and seek guidance.
