Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said during the speech that we wholeheartedly welcome the head of the Church of England the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and his delegation. We ensure that the government is taking all measures to ensure religious harmony in Pakistan and the safety of the lives of its minorities. There is no doubt that in the world Pakistan is the country that provides the most religious freedom and protection to its minorities. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government is taking practical steps to provide maximum relief for health and education along with other facilities to minorities.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the societies which do not give rights to minorities cannot make progress. Unfortunately, in India, not only the religious freedom of minorities is being taken away but also they are on the verge of genocide. Indian leaders have also become the supporters of religious extremists but in Pakistan, according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, every minority group has been provided with their rights. In the development, stability, and peace of the country, all minorities including Christians are playing an exceptional role.
