Pakistan, as well as Karachi, the sixth anniversary of the 2014 terror attack at the Army Public School in Peshawar that martyred 148 people, making it the deadliest act of terrorism in Pakistan’s history.
Information Minister Nasir Shah, Adviser to CM Sindh Murtaza Wahab, Leader of the Opposition in Sindh PA Firdous Shamim Naqvi, among others issued statements condemning the massacre and remembering the martyred children. They said it was the blackest day in the history of Pakistan and terror incident that brought the country united against fight against terrorism.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Zindabad Basic Organization members lit candles outside the Karachi Press Club in memory of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar martyrs on Wednesday. Tributes were also paid to the sacrifices rendered by the Pakistan Armed Forces against terrorism.
The Pakistan Zindabad Basic Organization activists held placards and banners to eulogize APS martyrs. Divisional President, Pakistan Zinda Bad Basic Organization Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Information Secretary Muskan Baloch, President Labour Wing Karachi Division Ikhtiar, Farrukh Rasheed, Muhammad Danish, Mehak Sultan and others were also present on the occasion.
