The current situation in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir came under discussion when a delegation of Kashmir email Forum visited the office of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter in Islamabad, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation was apprised of the escalation in human rights violations after the abrogation of Article 370 by the fascist Modi government. The visiting delegation was informed about the plight of Kashmiri detainees languishing in different jails of India and IIOJK without trial. The delegation was also briefed about the responsibilities of youth with regard to the Kashmir dispute, when India is all out to eliminate every Kashmiri who shows dissent.
APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmad Sagar and other Hurriyat leaders including Altaf Ahmad Wani, Zahid Safi, Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah and Syed Gulshan Ahmad appreciated the work of Kashmir email Form and asked them to continue their efforts and assured them of their full support and cooperation.
Mahmood Ahmad Sagar told the visiting delegation that Kashmir was passing through difficult phase as Modi government had choked the freedom of speech of enslaved people of the occupied territory. In this difficult time, he said, it is the responsibility of the people of Pakistan especially youth to come forward and present the Kashmir dispute in the right perspective before the world through different mediums.
Fazil Tabusm Chairman Kashmir email Forum informed the APHC-AJK leaders about the work done by his organisation to promote Kashmir cause at national and international level through emails and communications to different diplomats and international players. He also discussed about the future strategies to be adopted by the organisation to promote the Kashmir cause in different educational institutions and think tanks. The Chairman Kashmir email Forum assured his support to the APHC-AJK leaders for the promotion of Kashmir cause.
On the occasion, both the APHC-AJK chapter and Kashmir email Forum felt the need to apprise the Pakistani youth about the importance of the Kashmir issue. It was agreed upon to organize conferences and seminars in different universities and educational institutions of Pakistan and work together in future in the larger interests of Kashmir cause.—KMS
