APHC-AJK celebrates Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan’s Independence


A function was organized in Islamabad, today, by the All Party Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan’s Independence. Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar presided over the function

In addition to the Hurriyat leaders, guests from Saudi Arabia, Ghulam Nabi Butt and Raja Pervez participated in the function.

On the occasion, a special prayer was offered for the stability and prosperity of Pakistan and the early liberation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. At the end, the Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan’s Independence cake was cut. In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the people of Kashmir are celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day, today, with great enthusiasm, devotion and respect.

Despite presence of huge Indian forces, police personnel, drones and surveillance CCTVs the people in IIOJK raised Pakistani flags in several places of Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Islamabad, Kulgam and several areas of Jammu region of the territory to express their love for Pakistan at the stroke of midnight on August 14. They raised pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans vociferously.—KMS
