A special anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Tuesday acquitted eight activists of the religious outfit, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) dismissing cases against them.
The anti-terror court acquitted eight workers including Furqan, Amjad, Abid Hussain, Sajid, Hasnain Shakir, Fiaz, Safeer and Zulfiqar of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan.
Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta of the anti-terrorism court heard the cases against the accused.
Advocates Malik Saleem Khokhar and Asri Chaudhry presented arguments in the court.
The lawyers argued that the police didn’t recognize the accused. Ichhra police had registered cases against them.
