Anti-polio campaign in full swing

5-day Anti-polio campaign is in full swings in the district Hafizabad successfully and cooperation of ulema, social workers, teachers, parents and civil society has sought to make Anti-Polio campaign successful and result-oriented.

This was informed by the Chief Executive Officer Health Dr, Rehan Azhar in the meeting of the District Anti-Polio Committee Hafizabad held at District Complex. The Chief Executive Officer Health Dr. Rehan Azhar informed the meeting that 728 polio teams were engaged in administering drops of polio vaccine to 229033 target children upto five years during the campaign in the district which would continue till 27 May.

He also told that 126 area incharges and 42 Union Council Monitoring Officers were supervising the campaign. Addressing the meeting Deputy Commissioner, Allah Ditta Warraich, urged the need of collective struggle to achieve goal of polio free Pakistan and directed the employees of Health Department to perform their duties with dedication and to ensure vaccination of hundred percent target children in the district.
