Provincial president of Awami National Party (ANP), a component of the ruling alliance Thursday came hard on the Pakistan Muslim League PML-N senior vice President Maryam Nawaz over her statement on the Hazara province saying both Pakistan Muslim League and PTI were on the same page to divide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Addressing the Party meeting Friday the ANP senior leader and provincial president Aimal Wali Khan warned the ruling PML-N leader that her statements may lead to damage the coalition.

“Pakistan Muslim League leadership in an attempt to point scoring has been trying to split the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into two provinces in the past too yet it failed miserably” Aimal Wali said.

He said now they (PML-N) have been trying the same again for political scoring. “PTI and PML-N are on the same page to split Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into two provinces”. Aimal Wali Khan while reacting strongly to Maryam Nawaz’s statement on Hazara province made in Abbotabad on Thursday.

Strongly criticizing Maryam Nawaz over her views on Hazara province, Aimal Wali Khan said that the PML-N should first fulfill its promise of making South Punjab as a separate province. He said that earlier, the PML-N had also tried to divide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but failed. He said that such statements, for political point scoring, could damage the coalition.
