LAHORE – The Punjab government has unveiled a significant relief package to ease the financial burden on citizens, offering special benefits to motorbike owners.
Under the new scheme, registration and transfer fees for motorbikes across Punjab have been completely waived.
Additionally, registered motorbike owners will receive a monthly subsidy of Rs2,000.
The package provides fuel subsidies for up to 20 liters of petrol per month, allowing owners to purchase petrol at a discounted rate of Rs100 per liter.
Officials stated that the relief program is effective immediately and is expected to benefit millions of residents across the province.
To avail the fuel subsidy, motorbike owners can access guidance through the “Maryam Ko Batain” app or call the 1000 helpline for registration and other related information.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the government is committed to reducing the financial pressure on ordinary citizens and will continue introducing such relief initiatives.
