LAHORE – In the realm of international beauty pageants, Anniqa Jamal Iqbal’s story emerges as a symbol of elegance, perseverance, and cultural unity. Originating from Denmark, Anniqa not only embraces her Pakistani heritage but also shines as a remarkable representative of her roots on a global scale.
Through her participation in prestigious pageants worldwide, she has captured attention and admiration, highlighting her dedication to empowerment and advocacy.
Hailing from Denmark, Anniqa is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Economics degree at the University of Southern Denmark, with plans to further her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Business Economics and Auditing. Family-oriented, she resides in Denmark with her parents and two sisters, while her extended family resides in Pakistan.
Anniqa’s journey in the pageant world commenced with her crowning as Miss Pakistan World 2022 on September 15, 2022, marking a significant milestone as the 18th titleholder. At the youthful age of 21, she embarked on the international stage at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines, advocating for environmental awareness under the theme “ME Loves Fauna,” despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Building upon her impactful debut, Anniqa continued her journey by participating in Miss Eco International 2023 in Egypt, showcasing her dedication to environmental conservation. Her representation as Miss Eco Pakistan emphasized her role as a global citizen committed to preserving the Earth.
An inspiring turn came as Anniqa ventured into the Freedom of the World 2023 pageant in Kosovo, marking Pakistan’s inaugural participation. Her outstanding performance led to multiple titles, including Miss Photogenic, Miss Press, and Fourth Runner Up, demonstrating not just her beauty but also her eloquence and ability to transcend boundaries. Anniqa Jamal Iqbal became the first Miss Pakistan World to win 3 titles in a single international beauty pageant.
Having participated in three major pageants, Anniqa looks forward to upcoming opportunities to represent her country and share her culture with fellow contestants. Supported by her family, particularly her mother who designs her outfits under the label “House of Maharani,” Anniqa finds inspiration and strength in their unwavering support.
