Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 1.689 Metric Tons narcotics valuing US $ 1.128 Billion Internationally, arrested 10 culprits and impounded 5 vehicles while conducting 11 counter-narcotics strikes. The seized drugs comprised of 1120 Kg Morphine, 315.800 Kg Opium, 251.900 Kg Hashish and 2 Kg Heroin.
As per details, in an intelligence based operation, ANF Quetta raided at abandon house located at Nilan Rodh, Tehsil Mashgail, District Kharan and recovered 300 Kg Opium from the Toyota Hilux Double Cabin parked in the said house. In another operation, ANF Quetta recovered 1120 Kg Morphine from a Dry Nullah located at Koh-e-Rodini, Girdi Jungle, District Chaghi. As per initial information the recovered drugs were placed for handing over to some other narcotics gang.
ANF Lahore raided near Hajvari Town, Hurbanspura, Lahore and recovered 500 Gram Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Muhammad Osama resident of Lahore. On a tip-off, ANF Peshawar in collaboration with FC KP (Khyber Rifles) intercepted a Toyota Corolla car near Bigyari Check Post and recovered 4.800 Kg Opium from the said vehicle. An accused namely Israt Khan resident of Khyber was arrested on the spot. In another operation, ANF Peshawar in collaboration with FC KP, 161 Wing, Mahsud Scouts intercepted a FX car near Nala Check Post and recovered 2 Kg Hashish from the said vehicle.
Resultantly an accused namely Hazrat Noor resident of Khyber was arrested on the spot. In third operation, ANF Peshawar in collaboration with FC KP, 161 Wing, Mahsud Scouts arrested two accused persons namely M Sabir Khan and Bakhat Muneer both residents of Khyber and recovered 3 Kg Hashish and 1 Kg Hashish respectively from their personal possession. Both were arrested near Nala Check Post. In fourth operation, ANF Peshawar in collaboration with FC KP, 143 Wing, Khyber Rifles arrested an accused person identified as Zaw Ullah resident of Khyber and recovered 2 Kg Heroin from his personal possession.
In fifth operation, ANF Peshawar raided near Toda Mala Nullah near Al Masud, District Khyber and recovered 4.8 Kg Hashish from the said place. In sixth operation, ANF Peshawar in collaboration with FC KP, 161 Wing, Mahsud Scouts arrested an accused namely Anan Khan resident of Khyber and recovered 1 Kg Hashish from his personal possession.
