ANF arrests two drug smugglers

The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested two smugglers and recovered prohibited sedatives from containers at the port on Wednesday. The ANF Police Station Clifton inspected the containers to be exported at the port and found 98,000 Xanax tablets and 63,000 Lyrica capsules hidden in them and arrested accused Muhammad Saleem. He used to export the prohibited medicines to UAE. Case has been registered against the accused and raids are being made to arrest his accomplices. In a separate raid by ANF Police Station Korangi has arrested a Jeddah-bound passenger Mehrab Ali from Karachi airport and recovered 2,000 Roche tablets from his possession. Investigation has been initiated against the accused.
