Amjad Saqib’s book launched

Book launching ceremony of founder and chairman of the largest private interest-free lending institution in the world, country’s most respected social activist, author, prestigious scholar and speaker, Dr. Amjad Saqib’s, “Molo Musali” was held at Governor House Lahore. Chief guest of the event was Governor Punjab ‘Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar’.
Speakers including Karamat Bhatti, Mrs. Victoria Patrick, Director General of Punjab Institute of Language Arts and Culture Miss. Sughra Sadaf, Aamir Hashim Khakwani, Vice Chancellor of Bahauddin University Multan, Prof. Dr. Tariq Mehmood in their statements praised the efforts of Dr. Amjad for subject of the book and also expressed their admiration for the efforts of Dr. Amjad Saqib’s to end poverty.
Addressing the participants, Mr. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the objectives and focus of ‘Chaudhry Sarwar Foundation’ and ‘Punjab Development Network’ is to provide clean water to the people of Punjab, provide diagnosing facilities of hepatitis to hundred thousand people, its treatment. He also highlighted the ongoing efforts to cure the disease.
Dr. Amjad Saqib’s efforts were greatly appreciated by governor for his ongoing struggle to eradicate poverty and said that if he finds ten sincere people like Dr Amjad Saqib in Pakistan, they can change the destiny of this country.
While addressing the ceremony, Dr. Amjad Saqib said that the characters contained in the book are based on reality who, go far and away from our perception and feeling because of our insensitive, helpless and arrogant attitude. Talking about the ‘ Akhuwat Sadaqaat Bank’, he said that he intends to create a bank in which the money raised by the charity has been honorably delivered to the needy, deserved and disable people in the society.
