In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir acting chairman, Amir Hamza, was re-arrested after being released from illegal detention.
He was shifted to Bandipora police station.
Amir Hamza’s wife died while he was in custody but was not allowed to attend her funeral. Amir Hamza was released from illegal detention about a month ago.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in a statement strongly condemned the re-arrest of Amir Hamza and said India cannot suppress the Kashmiris’ voice for freedom through such cruel acts.—KMS
