A new, state-of-the-art pharmacy was opened by Alkhidmat in Nazimabady yester day . The inauguration of the new pharmacy was done by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman. Present on the occasion were Managing Director Pharm Evo Haroon Qasim, CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig, Rashid Qureishi, Director Pharmacy Services Sayyed Jamshed Ahmed, Director Diagnostic Services Professor Azeemuddin, President Alkhidmat UK Shaukat Ali and other senior officials from Alkhidmat Health department. Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Naeem said that the provision of healthcare services was actually the responsibility of the government, which it had failed to do fulfill.
Although the government had allocated a budget for healthcare, the benefits do not reach the people.This gap was being filled by Alkhidmat which was providing exemplary healthcare services throughout the country through its hospitals, clinics and pharmacies that were operating on international standards and offering medicines at subsidized rates.
