The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) organized a Free Pain Camp on Wednesday, October 16th, at the Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Garden in observance of World Pain Day. Senior AKUH doctors and support staff, including pain consultants and nurses, provided consultations, pain assessments, and guidance on managing chronic pain.
The team also advised on a range of procedures, pain blockers and advanced pain management techniques that are available for people who suffer from long-term or chronic pain.
The event underscores AKUH’s commitment to providing valuable support and resources to individuals suffering from chronic pain including migraines, headaches, facial pain, cancer-related pain or muscle, joint, and body aches and offering the highest quality of care available at all its hospitals and across all the communities it serves.
