AIOU celebrates its achievement of digital transformation milestone


Allama Iqbal Open (AIOU) has successfully accomplished its goal of digital transformation of entire academic, administrative and financial operations of the University ensuring transparency and accuracy.

The next target is to raise quality standards of the education imparted and strengthen academic structure of the University. We will exclusively focus on image building of the University’, Prof Dr Zia Ul- Qayyum, Vice-Chancellor said while addressing the participants of digital transformation celebration ceremony here Friday.

He, further, added that the University is specifically focusing on establishing and strengthening students support system on the modern parameters. He admired and thanked the entire team of digital transformation project for their untiring efforts and unwavering support.

Highlighting the significance of faculty development program, he said under the banner of this program, the University academia will be provided opportunities to pursue their higher education in prestigious educational institutions of the developed world.

A huge number of participants including Deans, academic and administrative heads as well faculty and staff attended the event.

Speakers of the ceremony held Prof Dr Zia Ul-Qayyum in high esteem and congratulated him on successful completion of digital transformation.

AIOU is ranked as the first Pakistani and second South Asian university which is fully automated.

Globally, it is ranked in top two hundred universities with respect to its unique digitalization.

The ceremony was concluded by presenting research publication and project grants to the academia by the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization.
