Healthy lifestyle is the key to prevent cancer. Pink Ribbon is taking the initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle through healthy activities and sports. Golf is a fun game and has many health benefits so Pink Ribbon is collaborating with Defence Raya Golf & Country Club to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Internationally many golf tournaments are arranged that bring together prominent corporate sponsors and community members for a spectacular day of golf, networking, and fundraising. Now in Pakistan Pink Ribbon and DRGCC will mark the World Cancer Day together by holding a golf tournament around every 4th Feb.
The Pink Ribbon and Defence Raya Golf & Country Club (DRGCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) intending to raise awareness about breast. At the ceremony, Pink Ribbon was represented by CEO Mr. Omer Aftab while from Defence Raya Secretary Golf & Country Club Brig (Retd) Waseem Azmat, was present to sign to the MOU. By signing MOU Defence Raya Golf & Country Club has agreed to support the cause of Pink Ribbon through its generous support.
This year Pink Ribbon is organizing its first corporate golf retreat at Defence Raya Golf and Country Club, Lahore.
The charity event aims to bring together the corporate leaders of Pakistan to experience one of the best golf courses of the country, to have fun and yet donate towards the construction of Pakistan’s first dedicated Breast Cancer Hospital.
