Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani Saturday condemned the terrorist attacks on the armed forces of the country on Pak-Afghan Border and Balochistan. He said, ‘I condemn the across the border terrorist attack [from the Afghan territory]. The Afghan government shall have to take measures for ending cross-border terrorism.’
According to a press release issued here, the Chairman Senate said that the terrorist activities perpetrated by country’s enemies were a cowardly move where the extremist elements were against stability of peace in Pakistan. ‘The terrorist will not succeed in their contemptible tactics as the nation is standing united against terrorists and enemies of the country,’ he added.
Sanjrani said that the terrorist would never weaken and slacken the resolve of the nation against terrorism through their ulterior motives. ‘The entire nation pays homage to the great sacrifices of Pakistan Army. We as a nation express our cordial sympathies with families of the martyrs,’ he added. He prayed for the exaltation of the ranks of the martyrs and peace for their families.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman Senate, Saleem Mandviwalla Saturday expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of soldiers in firing incident took place on Pak-Afghan border and Balochistan. He extended his condolences and prayed for the families of the brave soldiers, including an officer, martyred while fighting the terrorists.
He said that the terrorist attacks on Pakistan Army were regrettable as the armed forces had rendered immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He said that Pakistan Army was bravely fighting terrorism and the whole nation was standing besides armed forces in the war against terrorism.
While, Minister of State for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) and Narcotics Control, Shehryar Khan Afridi Saturday expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of security forces’ personnel happened in the consequence of terrorist attacks in cross-border areas of North Waziristan and Balochistan’.
In his condolence message issued here, he strictly condemned the terrorist attacks and said that some extremist elements were trying to destroy peace of the country but the brave soldiers of security forces and law enforcement agencies were combating their nefarious ambitions. “There will be no compromise on the country’s defence and curbing the menace of terrorism,” he said. The minister said that there would be no concession given to those involved in terrorist activities.
