Admin raids against chemical fertilizer hoarders

District administration raided against chemical fertilizer hoarders and illicit profiteers and took action against four dealers who were warned and fined 25,000 rupees.

Local Administration receiving complaint about shortage of chemical fertilizer in the district raided chemical fertilizer dealers across the district. Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad Muhammad Hassaan Ahsan along with Agriculture officers inspected fertilizer dealers in Tehsil Abbottabad and Havelian and protested against section 3 of KP Prevention and Hoarding Act 2020.

Assistant Commissioner later briefing the media told that they have zero tolerance against hoarders and illicit profiteers who have been creating artificial price hike.

He further told that crackdown will be made in the district against those who were found involved in illegal business of hoarding of food items and other products and creating shortage.

He asked the shopkeepers and dealers to follow the price lists otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
