Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rahman visited different areas of district east and inspected working on ongoing projects on Tuesday. AD Karachi visited Rashid Minhas Road, Dalmia Road, Shahra-e-Faisal, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Tariq Road, Nishtar Road, and other areas. Director General Works, Director General Parks, Senior Director Anti-Encroachment, concerned Chief Engineers and other officers are also accompanying him.
On the occasion AD Karachi instructed that it is sad to see the green belt between Shahrah-e-Faisal, this should be green in every case, bring plants from all nurseries and plant them in the city. Saplings should be planted in the green belt between the roads of District east. Plants should be pruned to make them look beautiful.
On the issue of encroachment he instructed that full action should be taken to end the encroachments. There should be no encroachment on both sides of the major roads of the city. Tattered old banners, flags, and other materials on the roads should be removed immediately. Street lights should be lit on all KMC managed roads.
