Senior actor Masood Akhtar passed away Saturday morning after being hospitalised for two months.

Masood Akhtar is known for playing a range of characters in films, dramas and theatre productions. According to reports, he was suffering from lung cancer and was being treated at a private hospital in Lahore. Masood was a recipient of the Pride of Performance.
