ACP hosts mehfilMusalma, Niaz-e-Haleem

Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, held its annual MehfilMusalma at the JaunElia Lawn, in honor of Imam Hussain (RA) and the sanctity of Muharram. This significant cultural event featured a stellar lineup of renowned poets and scholars, including Ahmad Jahangir, TauqeerTaqi, AmbareenHaseebAmbar, Professor Sahar Ansari, Khalid Moin, Aqeel Abbas Jafari, FarasatRizwi, NaseemNazish, and Naveed Abbas, whose recitations deeply moved the audience.

The event was skillfully moderated by Shakeel Khan. President of the Arts Council, Muhammad Ahmed  Shah, along with the council’s governing body members, hosted the Niyaz-e-Imam Hussain (RA). They warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, emphasizing the spirit of unity and reverence that this gathering embodies annually.

The event attracted a diverse audience, including notable personalities from various sectors and a substantial number of Arts Council members. Guests enjoyed traditional Haleem, adding a delightful culinary aspect to the evening’s proceedings.
