ACE retrieves state land worth millions from ‘mafia’

Anti-corruption authorities have launched major operations against the illegal occupants on state land and relinquished valuable government lands worth millions of rupees from the influential mafia.

Anti-Corruption Lahore Region B conducted a grand operation against the land grabbers Mafia in Changa Manga area and handed over 15.5 acres of land to the Irrigation Department.

Joint action was taken with heavy personnel and the relinquished land has been handed over to the concerned SDO, Irrigation Department.

On the other hand, Anti-Corruption Sargodha relinquished two kanals and 15 marlas of commercial government land from Sahiwal Tehsil area, worth more than 13 million.

Illegal occupants had set up a commercial market on government land, an oil agency, an agro-medicine store and other shops were set up on government land.
