The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) on Tuesday has recommended to the authorities concerned to put the names of a close associate of former Chief Minister Punjab and another accused on Exit Control List (ECL).
ACE authorities have also written a letter to the Punjab Home Department to place the name of ex-CM Parvez Elahi’s close associate and former provincial assembly secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti on the exit control list (ECL).
According to details, the ACE Has been tightening the noose around the accused of corruption to prevent his escape.
The ACE also recommended putting the name of Rana Muhammad Iqbal on the ECL and sent their data to the home department.
A copy of the letter has been sent to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) director general too. Muhammad Khan Bhatti has been booked for taking billions of rupees bribe.
The Punjab Home Department should immediately approach the Federal Interior Ministry to place Muhammad Khan Bhatti on the Exit Control List, the letter read.
