The ACCA Pakistan, SKANS School of Accountancy Faisalabad and SOS village have been teamed up for a tree plantation drive in the heart of Faisalabad and planted scores of saplings to contribute to countering impact of climate change.
ACCA Pakistan upholds its commitment to UNSDG (Climate Action) and conducts various activities around the year to create and initiate solutions for climate change impact.
Present on the occasion were SOS Officials including Assistant Director Mrs. Razi, Ayesha Naseer, Program Manager ACCA SKANS School of Accountancy, Faisalabad) and FD/ACCA students of SKANS School of Accountancy, Faisalabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Razia said, “SOS village places a great amount of attention on teaching the children how they can live in harmony with nature and nurture the environment. It is great to partner with organizations such as ACCA and SKANS whose goals are aligned with ours in this regard.”
Ms. Ayesha Naseer added, “SKANS not only places emphasis on education but also on societal impact that our students will create.
Activities such as this tree plantation drive enable students to learn how small gestures can make a significant difference and enable them to leave a positive mark on the planet.”
