The Accountability Court (AC) Lahore on Tuesday ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to submit a response to the application of Tayyaba Gul.

The court Judge Asad Ali heard the case on Tuesday and sought arguments on the admissibility of Tayyaba Gul’s application against former NAB Director General and other officials for making the fake case against her.

NAB victim Tayyaba Gul’s application was pending in the Accountability Court to hear since last year. On Tuesday, Tayyaba Gul did not appear before the Accountability Court judge to pursue her application personally.

But her lawyer Muhammad Zahid Mughal appeared before the court and asked for the adjournment of the hearing for his arguments. The court adjourned further hearing of the case till September 26, 2022. —NNI
