In a proactive move aimed at ensuring the welfare of citizens and maintaining the integrity of academic examinations, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Wana, Faisal Ismail, undertook a comprehensive visit to Basic Health Center (BHU) and an examination hall in Tehsil Shakai.
Under the directives of the Deputy Commissioner of Lower South Waziristan, Assistant Commissioner Wana, Faisal Ismail, conducted a meticulous inspection of BHU Shakai, meticulously scrutinizing the attendance records of all staff members. Accompanied by Medical Officer Dr. Nader Mukhtiar, the AC received a briefing on the essential healthcare provisions extended to the populace, expressing contentment over the standard of services rendered.
Highlighting the fundamental right of citizens to quality healthcare, Assistant Commissioner Wana reiterated the commitment of the district administration to ensure improved healthcare access across all regions. Simultaneously, in his efforts to uphold the sanctity of academic assessments, Assistant Commissioner Wana visited the examination hall at Government High School Shakai, where matriculation exams commenced on April 18 under the oversight of Dera Board. Implementing a zero-tolerance policy against cheating, the AC issued stringent directives to examination staff to deter any malpractice.
Emphasizing the detrimental effects of academic dishonesty on the future prospects of students, Assistant Commissioner Wana underscored the importance of collaborative endeavors in combating cheating. During the visit, the deteriorating condition of the Government High School Shakai building was brought to the attention of the AC by the principal, who also highlighted the students’ need for educational resources and sports equipment.
Assuring comprehensive support, Assistant Commissioner Wana pledged to address the infrastructural concerns and cater to the educational requirements of the schoolchildren.
