Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader, Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should accept election results instead of leveling baseless allegations of rigging and raising hue and cry over non-issues.

Interacting with a private news channel on Wednesday, he said that keeping in the prevailing situation of the country, all political parties needed to join hands setting aside political differences for making collective efforts to drag the country out of confronting crises.

Abid Sher Ali said that the PTI and other stakeholders should find the best way for the betterment of the country as they had challenged victories of PML-N candidates based on alleged rigging during the general elections 2024.

PTI does not want to prove anything but only to pressurize institutions for the decision according to their wishes, he added. The PML-N leader said that certain elements were in the habit of levelling baseless allegations and creating confusion among the public.

The country was going through a critical phase and it could not afford any irresponsible behaviour, he said, adding that any grievances related to the results of elections should be taken to the appropriate forum.—INP
