Abbottabad police recover 365kg of narcotics

Abbottabad Police managed to recover as many as 365 kilograms of different Narcotics beside 3066 bottles of liquor during comprehensive campaign against drugs paddlers in last three months in twelve police station of Abbottabad district.

District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad Zahoor Baber Afridi shared Police station wise progress of Drugs & Ammunition recoveries in Abbottabad with Journalists here on Saturday.

Sufficient quantity of all types of narcotics including Charas, Heroin, Opium, Ice and Liquor were recovered from most of the urban areas while Charas and liquors were recovered by rural police stations.

Abbottabad like other parts of the country has been facing upward trend of drug use despite harmful consequences and number of people specially youth have reportedly been addicted to many different Intoxicants.
