The National Conference President, Farooq Abdullah, has said that the authorities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have established a system to keep the people in fear and terror. Farooq Abdullah addressing people in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, today, said: “There is a blanket ban on raising the voices and speaking the truth.”
He said a situation of fear and terror has been created in the occupied territory to keep people away from speaking the truth. He said that freedom of press had been stifled and newspapers had become mouthpieces of the authorities and published only government rhetoric.—KMS
