A mysterious disease hits Pasid Khel village

Al-Khidmat foundation and DHQ hospital of Landikotal organized medical camp for the hundreds of children and elders of Pasid Khel village the other day, according to locals a mysterious disease has caused the vomiting and high fever in hundreds of people mostly in children after they used spring water for drinking at their village.
According to the ameer of Jamat-e-Islam and Al-Khidmat foundation Landikotal ‘Murad Hussain’, a disease hit hundreds of population of Pasid Khel village in recent days and we sent the medical team to provide free medical treatment to the affected children. 270 patients including children and elders were examined by our medical team and were also give free medicines. Afridi stated.
Meanwhile, Dr. Naikdad Afridi, the medical superintendent of district headquarter hospital Landikotal told media that a couple of days before they also set up a medical camp in Pasid Khel and doctors provided medical treatment to hundreds of persons. We have sent water samples to the medical laboratory to diagnose the disease but yet we have not received the result. Health officials informed the media.
An official of the mentioned hospital told this scribe that some 25 to 30 infected persons mostly children had been admitted at the hospital, most of them have been discharged and now only two children treatment was underway at the hospital. Locals of Pasid Khel applauded the DHQ hospital Landiktoal M.S Dr.Naikdad Afridi and Al-Khidmat foundation for sending doctor teams to provide medical treatment to the infected persons.
