Government of KPK has set their priority to establish “Ease of Business Facilitation Centers” at every divisional level in the first phase says Javed Marwat Secretary Industries KP while addressing the Business community here at a local hotel on Tuesday.
Javed Marwat said the CPEC is a big opportunity as well as it is a big challenge for not only for the government but for the business entrepreneurs, our trader’s. This time that we should act swiftly and actively to avail benefits from the CPEC fruits. We had to convert challenge to an opportunity for which the government of KP is utilizing all resources to encash this golden opportunity by setting up help desks and facilitation centers for our business community.
Secretary Industries Javed Marwat accompanied by Ehsan Daud, Chairman KP BIOT, Ghazanfar Khattak, chief Executive SIDB, Hanif Gohar Vice President FPCCI, Haji Iftikhar Ahmed senior member of KP EZMEC board along with Additional Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and other high ranking officials of Industries Department visited the site of Small Industrial Estate-(Abbottabad-2) site at Havelian, and site for Dry Port at Balder.
Ehsan Daud Chairman KP BIOT has asked the business the community of Hazara Division to come forward and join the hands of KP government as Abbottabad-2 extension project will be declared as “Special Economic Zone” with multiple taxation and other benefits and invited the attention of industrialists to use latest and modern ways and means for the establishments of the industries environment friendly.
Daud said that KP government is trying to remove un-necessary hurdles for task force is already working at Finance and industries department and had done maximum work which includes the mapping of taxes and in the current budget for the year 2020, a large number of taxes are abolished and had also reduced the rates and duplication is also curtailed.
Haji Iftikhar Ahmed former vice president of FPCCI and the senior member of KP EZEMEC demanded the establishment of State Bank Branch at Abbottabad and empowerment of district governments to avail the benefits of CPEC as it is passing from the six districts of Hazara and concentration to be given on the creation of potentials for the job creations at district levels. He demanded the establishment of Expo Centre as Hazara is rich in mineral products especially of Marble, Granite, and other minerals.
