The federal minister Dr.Noorul Haq Qadri on Sunday participated at various opening ceremonies where he kicked off billion trees tsunami campaign, he also formally opened Landikotal to Pased Khel village road which has recently repaired and upgraded with the cost of Rs.33 million. Talking on this occasion, Dr.Noorul Haq Qadri said that it was the mission of Prime minister Imran Khan to develop and improve the life standard of the people at newly merged districts.
The newly repaired road of Pased Khel is the example of the PTI government which wants to develop these backward areas. Qadri stated. The three kilometers long road is repaired with the cost of Rs.33 million. An official told media men during the opening ceremony of the road.
Earlier, Dr.Noorul Haq Qadri also inaugurated billion trees plantation campaign by planting a sapling at DC bungalow in Landikotal tehsil compound. Speaking to the Prime Minister’s billion trees campaign opening ceremony the minister dr Noorul Hqa Qadri said it was not his moral obligation to plant trees but Islam teaches to plant trees and earn blessings of Allah. A large number of PTI workers and leaders, civil administration officials minority MPA Wilson Wazir were accompanied the minister.
Qadri said that this year on the directives of PM Imran Khan, they would plant one billion saplings across the country. He said 0.1 million saplings would be planted in Bara,Jamrud and Landikotal in ongoing plantation season. Regarding to the much awaited and few times revised mega water scheme Shalman water scheme the minister said that Landikotal resident would hear a good news about the formal opening of shalman water scheme.
