Founder Group kicks off first phase campaign for LCCI polls

“Founder” Group Sunday formally kicked off first phase of the campaign for the annual election of the pioneer Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry established in 1923, to be held on September 25 and 26 next. Speaking to select representatives of trade unions of city at his residence in view of Coronavirus Chairman Founder Group Iftikhar Ali Malik said that top group leaders have decided in principle to continue its alliance with Pakistan Industrial & Traders Association Front for the upcoming election of Lahore Chamber or 2020-2021.
President SAARC Chamber and The United Business Group chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik, who is also leading the election campaign, said that majority of LCCI’s former presidents was in favour of continuity of the Alliance.
He said that keeping in view of the past experience, it seems difficult to cause a dent in the formidable unity of existing alliance of “Founder’s and the “PIAF” in the provincial metropolis and leading United Business Group in federation election.
