NAB to form CIT for probe into sugar subsidy

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday decided to form a Combined Investigation Team (CIT) for impartial and transparent investigation of sugar subsidy scandal.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, NAB spokesperson said that the team would comprise of experienced and hardworking officers of NAB Rawalpindi.
The team will comprise of two investigative officers, a financial expert and a legal council expert. The NAB team will also include experts with experience in the sugar industry, forensic experts, case officers, additional directors and relevant directors.
