The Fishermen’s Operative Society (FCS), led by its Chairman Abdul Berr organized a grand boat rally on Wednesday to show solidarity with Kashmiris against Indian atrocities. The boat rally started from Keamari Jetty. Kashmiris and Pakistani flags were flown on the boats while banners with slogans of Kashmir’s independence were also hung. All the boats resounded with slogans of ‘Kashmir will become Pakistan’. Talking to media atKaemari Jetty, Chairman Fishermen’s Cooperative Society Abdul Berr said that many years ago today our leader and internationally renowned leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had said that if we had to fight for the independence of Kashmir even for a thousand years, we would fight and liberate Kashmir. “Today I want to tell the Pakistani nation that 2 million fishermen are standing side by side with their forces for the independence of Kashmir.”He said that the children of fishermen are always fighting for the independence of Kashmir, adding, “We cannot leave our Kashmiri brothers to be oppressed by India. Modi’sfascist government has narrowed the Kashmir Valley on our Kashmiris. Every day innocent Kashmiris are being extrajudicially killed. Mountains of oppression are being broken on them. Where are those human rights organizations? And where is the candle mafia. Do they not see the oppression of Kashmiris in Kashmir. Addressing the participants of the boat rally, Chairman Abdul Berr said we demand the United Nations to use its influence. Send international media to occupied Kashmir so that Indian oppression of Kashmiris through international media can be exposed to the civilized world.FCS Director AsifIqbalBhatti, Haji Abdul Rauf Ibrahim, AsifMaqsoodTipuAsif Khan, ShaukatHussainKachhi, Hanif Soda, YaqubJakhio and other fishermen leaders were also present.
