Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has appealed to the citizens to take strict precautionary measures on Eid-ul-Azha and said that the spread of corona was slowing down rapidly.
He visited the residence of Federal Interior Minister Syed Ijaz Shah and expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of his brother Peer Hassan Ahmad Shah.
Abdul Aleem Khan offered Fateha and prayed to Allah Almighty to show the deceased His mercy and grant strength to the grieving family to bear such an irreparable loss with courage and fortitude.
He announced that they were close to defeating the threat but more caution was needed.
He expressed that citizens need to be more careful, and not to endanger others again by our own mistakes.
Aleem Khan said that due to the far-sighted policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan, coronavirus did not cause as much damage in Pakistan as compared to other countries and expressed his satisfaction that the death rate had been reduced by 80pc.
He instructed that Eid-ul-Azha be celebrated with simplicity and social distancing and other measures should not be neglected.
The minister said that the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team were fruitful and that was the reason that hospitals were being vacated and if the citizens showed responsibility especially on this Eid, Insha Allah the situation would improve further.
Aleem Khan while talking to the delegation of party workers of NA-129 and PP-158 directed them to keep playing their part in awareness of the masses and drive special campaign especially on Eid and convince the people to implement SOPs and avoid coronavirus because it was for the good and safety of the entire nation.
