The lives of Karachiiteshave become miserable due to prolonged and announced loadshedding amid sweltering heat on Friday. The duration of outages in different areas of the city has reached up to 12 hours as residents complain that the K-Electric is shutting down power under the garb of electricity fault and load management. Lyari, North Karachi, PIB Colony, Korangi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Ancholi and Saddar are among areas that continue to face unannounced loadshedding.
