Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hina Pervaiz Butt on Monday submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly against increase in the PTV license fee.
The resolution rejected the hike of Rs 65, from 35 to 100 rupees, in the license fee while strongly condemning the decision by the federal government. The resolution stated that PM Imran Khan in the past declared the PTV fee of Rs 35 as annual robbery of Rs 10b by the govt, and now he is going to rob people of Rs 30b after surging the fee to Rs 100.
The resolution appealed to the SC to take notice against anti-public step by and declare the sudden decision of increasing the PTV license fee as null and void.
